During the day, a number of daughters participated in the ritual competition, and the day was replete with food, fun, and fellowship.

We extend our thanks to Daughters KassiAnne and Heather for the outstanding work that they did during 2006-2007, and we look forward to working with our new Miss Florida and Jr. Miss Florida for the coming year.

The time has passed for you to submit your nominations for the Grand Master’s Youth Award. The nomination forms can be downloaded from the Florida Job’s Daughters web site.

The forms should have been completed no later than November 6th, and sent to the Grand Secretary’s Office in Jacksonville. (PO Box 1020, Jacksonville, FL 32201-1020). The Grand Master would like your District Deputy Grand Master, or the Zone or District Youth Chairman to present the award, so please contact them when you receive the award from the Grand Lodge Office.

Job-a-rama held December 8 - 10 at the Lake Yale Baptist Camp in Leesburg was a great success.

One of the highlights of the weekend was watching the space shuttle take off from the Cape and the reflection over Lake Yale.? What a sight!!!?

In addition, Miss Heather, from Bethel No. 9 in St. Petersburg was selected the Junior Miss Florida for 2006-07.
